Ideas as trading plans

The frozen frame, review across timeframes, and matching the plan against real trades.

An idea in Quasar is not a post with a picture. It is an executable trading plan, later matched against what the person actually did.

The frozen frame

At the moment of publication the chart is frozen: instrument, timeframe, drawings, levels. It cannot be touched up afterwards — which is exactly why it can be trusted.

Anyone can show a beautiful equity curve: a screenshot takes a minute, and a bad month simply never reaches the report. A frozen frame differs from a screenshot in that it cannot be redrawn after the event.

Reviewed across timeframes

An idea is built in steps: the higher timeframe for context, the lower one for the entry. Each step has its own frame and its own thought. That shows not only “where” but “why” — the whole reasoning, not the conclusion.

Matched with real trades

Once a trade is executed it is attached to the idea as evidence: entry and exit price, size, result in pips, percent and R. Plan and execution sit side by side, and the gap between them is immediately visible.

That is the difference between “I thought so” and “I did so”.

What others see

With a public profile, outsiders see the trade evidence inside your idea — never in currency. With a private one they see nothing.

The choice covers the whole record: public mode shows it all. There is no right to hide a losing trade and there will not be — it is the same as the right to show only winners, and then the statistics lie.
